Scottish or British Summer is a real blessing from God. Summer is officially here in Scotland and it’s awesome after the gloomy long winter.
Days are very short in winter in Scotlands. A typical day length in winter is about 7 hours only whereas in summer it is 17 hours. The flowers start to bloom again and the trees grow back their leaves, and within a few weeks, Scotland starts to look like a wonderland. In my opinion, the best thing about summer is the sunsets. It’s as if the sky turns into a faucet, slowly draining the vibrant colours into a vacuum of nothingness.
